DOHA, April 2015 – Qatar Finance and Business Academy (QFBA), Qatar’s national leader and partner of choice for professional finance and business training, today announced that it has received the International Organization for Standardization’s (ISO) prestigious 9001-2008 certification following a rigorous evaluation process. 

As one of few national training organizations to receive the ISO 9001-2008 certification and just five years after its establishment, officials said today’s announcement underscores QFBA’s commitment to quality and customer satisfaction in a period of recent growth for the organization. QFBA scored considerably high – 4.5 out of 5 – during the course of the evaluation, which was conducted by the U.K.’s Q.A. International Certification Ltd. 

“Congratulations and thank you to each member of the talented QFBA family for the daily dedication and commitment to excellence that gave rise to this richly-deserved recognition,” said QFBA CEO Dr. Abdulaziz Al Horr. “Pursuing and securing this certification - which will have a lasting impact our internal quality management system – is just the latest step we’ve taken to stay customer-focused and grow our ability to deliver world-class, Qatar-focused programs for recent graduates and financial professionals here. By investing in ourselves at this early but exciting stage in our development, we are investing in our Qatar’s workforce and in its future.”

He added, “QFBA exists to help our students – whether fresh grads or industry veterans – up their game through world-class personal, financial and business training courses. This ISO certificate, for us, is the latest recognition of our internal commitment to quality programming, underscoring QFBA’s success as we drive toward Qatar’s National Vision for 2030.”

Recognized globally as a mark of organizational consistency, effectiveness and efficiency, the esteemed ISO 9001-2008 certificate sets the international standard for best practice quality management. The certification and process through which it is obtained helps QFBA benchmark, in the long-term, its internal quality management policies and procedures against international standards. 

It additionally reflects the customer-centric approach QFBA has adopted and a commitment to constantly improving customer satisfaction and outcomes in a period of impressive growth for the Academy. Now in its fifth year, the QFBA expects to enrol around 5,000 students across 350 programs in 2015.
